Come along on a bike ride in the old Copenhagen, and learn how the Danish Kings have shaped the city.
Smell the gun smoke from the Battle of Copenhagen (1801) and the Swedish attack in 1659. Hear the fascinating stories of iconic buildings and places, like Christiansborg Castle, The war harbour, The old Marked Square, Graybrothers Square, Rosenborg Castle, “Nyboder”, the fortress Kastellet, the little Mermaid, Vestindien warehouse, Amalienborg Palace and the Kings New Square.
You need a bike for the tour. If you dont have your own, there are many bike rentals in Copenhagen.
Practical informations:
- Start at 10.00 at Gammel Strand 1 (at Gammel Strand Metro Station)
- We will ride 10 km, at a leisurely pace
- Be aware that part of the tour take place on cobblestones. Don’t rent a racing bike
- Max. 10 participants
- Price DKK 100 per. person
- Group discount if you sign up for 5 or more people.
