Two hours 15 min city walk within the ramparts of the Medieval Town.
We walk through the streets in the oldest part of Copenhagen: The old Marked Square, the University, Cathedral, Greybrothers Square, and Amager Square – before we end the tour at the Kings New Square.
See the iconic places and buildings and hear the stories about Thorvaldsen, entertainment in the Middle Ages, the traitor Corfitz Ulfeldt, the biggest party, and back to the time where the rulers feared a socialist revolution in Denmark.
Practical information:
- Start at 10.00 at Gammel Strand 1 (at Gammel Strand Metro Station)
- We will walk 4-5 km
- Put on practical shoes. Part of the trip we walk on cobblestones
- Max. 10 participants
