Take a city walk on the Castle Island – “Slotsholmen” – where power in Denmark has been centralized for more than 500 years.
On the tour we see Christiansborg Castle, The stock exchange, the war harbor, the marble bridge, Thorvaldsens Square, the Supreme Court – and more.
Hear the stories about the danish kings, the secret port of war, Struense (the Quin’s lover), the Swedish attack in 1659 and the amazing life of Bertil Thorvaldsen.

- Start at 10.00 at Gammel Strand 1 (at Gammel Strand Metro Station)
- We will walk 2 km
- Put on practical shoes. Part of the trip we walk on cobblestones
