I have two bikes, so I don’t have much experience with bike rental in Copenhagen. However, I know that there are many options.
I do not cooperate with any of the mentioned companies – and I don’t get commission of any rental.
- Check your hotel
If you stay in a hotel, check if they have bike rental. Many hotels have a fair price, and the bike is (usually) delivered at the hotel. - Bycyklen
The Municipality of Copenhagen rents out electric bicycles. They are rented via an app. They have many ‘bike stations’ – also close to Gammel Strand, where the tours starts.
They have many types of rental, e.g. pay-as-you-go, where you only pay for the time you use the bike.
- Donkey Republic
Also a big provider, which rents out via an app. The bikes are ordinary – the engine is your legs!
Dokney bikes stands many places in the city. They have pay-as-you-go as one of their rental models. - Segway Tours
Also has bike rental. The store is located on Nikolai Plads 34, about 40 meters from our meeting point at Gammel Strand.
